Growing In Unity - Day 3, And A Giveaway!

Here we are at day three, showing off my favorite Unity Stamps.  The week is really flying by.  If you missed days 1 or 2, you can click HERE or HERE.

Today's card used some dies borrowed from a friend of mine.  I didn't think to get the brand name of the dies While I was using them.  Being from Seattle, I just fell in love with them.  This is the Seattle skyline, complete with the Space Needle.

Unity Stamps, Stamping, Die cuts, blue, green, Seattle, Space Needle

I cut the die twice, once in blue and once in green.  I glued them together just slightly offset so that you could see the green behind the blue.  Then, I mounted the cuts on a blue background with a green card base.  It gives a pretty cool optical illusion.

Although it doesn't show up well in the photo, I used some Wink Of Stella glitter pen to completely cover the skyline, and then some silver glitter paper punched with a star punch, for the sky.

Unity Stamps, Die Cuts, Stamping, Seattle, Space Needle, Blue, Green

I finished this card off by stamping the sentiment, "it all happened here." from the Life Is A Journey Unity Stamp set.  I just love this card and hope you do too!

Unity Stamps, US, map,

Awesome card. I've seen a couple of those die sets from different cities. I may have to see if they have a Wisconsin one. Love the off setting you did with the 2 different papers really does make it pop.

What a fun idea to offset the bright green behind the blue die cuts and that's the perfect sentiment for this skyline!
