Growing In Unity - Day 5, And A Giveaway!

Wow...I can't believe it's Friday already.  This week just zoomed by.  Welcome to the final day of our Growing in Unity week.  If you missed any of the previous posts, you can use the links provided to take a peek.  DAY 1  DAY 2  DAY 3 DAY 4

Today's card is actually tiny and simple.  I used the sentiment from the, "Need A Squeeze" Itty Bitty Stamp set from Unity.  I used a chipboard sticker and striped paper from SEI, and mounted everything onto cardstock.

I mounted the sentiment onto black cardstock and then cut banner ends and popped it up with dimensional adhesive. It gave it that little "extra" it needed to stand out!

I've REALLY enjoyed hanging out with you guys this week!  If you like what you've seen, please consider joining us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Remember the giveaway this week...it's a grab bag of 25 random Unity stamps going to two different winners!  Just leave a comment on any or all of the Growing In Unity posts this week to enter.  Please remember to leave your email address in case you're a winner.

Growing In Unity - Day 4. And A Giveaway!

It's Thursday and that means Day 4 of our Growing in Unity week.  We're coming down to the home stretch.  If you missed any previous posts this week, you can click on the following links to see them.  DAY 1  DAY 2  DAY 3

Today's card uses the Life Documented Banner (Simple Stories Itty Bitty) stamp kit from Unity.  I started with a white cardstock base, and used a window die that a friend of mine cut for me.  Behind the window is a second piece of white cardstock that I covered with Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Rusty Hinge, Seedless Preserves, and Chipped Sapphire, to give the appearance of a sunset.

I stamped the banner in various colors and patterns and fussy cut each one out.  I mounted them onto the page with a piece of twine behind them to give the appearance of the banner hanging on the window.  I popped up a "celebrate" sticker from SEI and called this card DONE!

Growing In Unity - Day 3, And A Giveaway!

Here we are at day three, showing off my favorite Unity Stamps.  The week is really flying by.  If you missed days 1 or 2, you can click HERE or HERE.

Today's card used some dies borrowed from a friend of mine.  I didn't think to get the brand name of the dies While I was using them.  Being from Seattle, I just fell in love with them.  This is the Seattle skyline, complete with the Space Needle.

Unity Stamps, Stamping, Die cuts, blue, green, Seattle, Space Needle

I cut the die twice, once in blue and once in green.  I glued them together just slightly offset so that you could see the green behind the blue.  Then, I mounted the cuts on a blue background with a green card base.  It gives a pretty cool optical illusion.

Although it doesn't show up well in the photo, I used some Wink Of Stella glitter pen to completely cover the skyline, and then some silver glitter paper punched with a star punch, for the sky.

I finished this card off by stamping the sentiment, "it all happened here." from the Life Is A Journey Unity Stamp set.  I just love this card and hope you do too!

Growing In Unity - Day 2, And A Giveaway!

Welcome to today's Growing in Unity post, featuring Unity Stamps.  If you missed yesterday's post, you can click HERE to see it.

I'm always excited when I can take a themed stamp set, and do something completely different with it than what was originally intended.  That's the case with today's card.  It uses a kit called, "About the Inches," and it's a GREAT set to document your weight loss journey.

Unity Stamps, pink, blue, baby, expecting, Hearts, big changes, coming soon, chevron background

I just paired the stamps with some pink cardstock, blue ink and sweet crocheted flowers, and made it a pregnancy announcement.

Unity Stamps, pink, blue, baby, expecting, Hearts, big changes, coming soon, chevron background

I used the chevron background stamp from the kit (awesome for all kinds of uses) along with two of the sentiments, "big changes,"  and, "coming soon."  I die cut a little pink heart for the middle.  I realized,  after the card was already made that a cute little die cut of a baby bottle or rattle would be great inside the heart.

Everything was matted on black cardstock, and I called this card finished!

Happy Monday, and thanks for joining me this week for Growing in Unity...a five day showcase using Unity Stamps. I've made some really cute cards to share with you this week, and I hope you like them as much as I do!

Unity Stamps, Stamping, SEI, Stickers, US Map
Today's card uses paper and a sticker from a card kit from SEI.  Combined with cardstock and Unity Stamps, we have today's creation.  I mounted a piece of SEI's colorful background paper onto a piece of white cardstock, and then used one of their light blue papers from the same kit to stamp the map and pin with heart on it.  I mounted it on black cardstock to ground it and draw your eye to the picture.  Then,I used one of their stickers and popped it up off the page.

I used the Life Is A Journey Stamp kit from Unity.  I think this kit is perfect for "miss you," cards or even for moving announcements. There's all kinds of great uses for it!
